This is one of those weddings where you actually don’t want to leave and go home for a sleep. We spent this day with Ieva and Davide for almost 22h – the longest wedding for us so far. Well, what could you expect more when the wedding is celebrated on Midsummer eve when you are not allowed to sleep since it is the longest day of the year. With them and their families we felt like their friends, even like the members of the family. We had the warmest welcome from the mix of Latvian and Italian families. Very special and intimate wedding vows, the speeches from best people around, flower crowns everywhere and the evening followed by officially the craziest wedding party we had experienced, so we also had to dance. While driving our way home, we also saw a beautiful rising sun over the foggy meadows at 5am. Beautiful. Mind-blowing. Happily-ever-after.
